From the desk clerk in the E.R. who screeches one's patients' personal information so loudly that everyone in the waiting room hears it, to the nurse who expects a recitation of all medications from a patient at level 10 of pain to the doctor who did not even view the afflicted areas of injury, my experience in this emergency room on the evening of August 8 left me still in pain and disgusted by the incompetence and insensitivity of every staff member I encountered. It was a sorry excuse for an e.r. facility.
